After signing up to the stained glass course at Bolton College (Deane Road) in February 2022 ‐ to try something new ‐ I have become obsessed by glass. I’ve loved learning a series of new processes and creating artwork in this way. 

History‐ Having completed a Fine Art degree in 1989 (yes way back in the last century) I worked in the manufacturing industry while creating ceramic sculptures for exhibitions in 1999/2000. Twenty two years later, two adult children having flown the nest, two decades in teaching and a new adventure into glass was to begin. Clay is now on a shelf in my studio waiting for me to exorcise the need to create in glass. I’d be happy for visits to my studio and talk through my art (would highly recommend taking the leap to try something new and Bolton College). 

Now‐ My present art consists of northern sayings as comments on positivity/graffiti in glass. 

A sideline or side hustle (as the kids say) is creating landscapes and beach scenes from holiday photographs‐ those no one moves from their phone and certainly not to print out (so last century). Commissions continue to pop on my Instagram and I really enjoy these so please contact me so we can talk through what we could come up with together.
